The temporary pedestrian walkway connecting the north and south areas of Main Campus will be closed beginning today, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to address inconsistencies with ADA compliance. During this time, access across campus will be available through the original walkway that led to Building 10 that is close to the Lawson Street bus stop. This walkway will remain open while modifications are completed.
New Spanish Language Collection available in the ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ Libraries

Thanks to grant funding from the ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ Foundation, the ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ Library now has a brand-new Spanish Language Collection!

Containing nearly 300 titles in print (100 of them brand new!) at the Main Campus Library and over 300 new ebooks/audiobooks available via the Dogwood Digital Library, the Spanish Language Collection is now available to all ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ students, staff, and faculty.
This collection is a complement to our Spanish language courses (SPA) at ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ and provides a variety of reading material by some of the Spanish-speaking world’s most celebrated authors and some books in translation, including collections of short stories, poetry, and children’s books.

Print Titles
Many of our and are also on on display for browsing upstairs in the Main Campus Library.

Digital Titles
ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ now has 2 virtual locations for finding digital Spanish-language items.
The first is by searching all ebooks via the (just hit enter).

You can then limit your search results by Language.

Newly added is the , which contains over 300 items in Spanish both ebook and e-audiobooks. You will need to log in with your ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ ID to access all of the titles, approximately 70 are reserved for ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ users only.

To find Spanish language items, select a Collection or Subject and use the Language option to Select Spanish.

New & Updated LibGuides for Spanish Materials
The has been updated with links to some of the new materials.

A new research guide titled contains links to Spanish-language items at ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ arranged by geographic origin of the author – including Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
